The state hates anyone that stands up to them, as the purpose of the state is to broadcast their power over the land, and any group who challenges that power must be put down by any means. Usually, they are put down with violence. Why violence? Because it works. They want to crush all resistance, lest the other plebs get any ideas.
Thus the ever increasing move towards totalitarianism over time. Each threat is met with more rules, more violence, increasing state power and growing tyranny.
Take America for example. What began as almost limitless freedom under the Articles of the Confederation became the myriad rules of the Constitution, the Whiskey Rebellion, then the Civil War, creation of the Fed, endless taxes, fondling at all the airports, new security agencies, forced medical experimentation and now complete surveillance. This is the march of tyranny. Hanging out on a bridge somewhere for a few weeks isn’t going to turn back that tide.
It is worth mentioning the last line of the Declaration of Independence “We mutually pledge to each other our lives, our fortunes, and our sacred honor.”
Not to dismiss the actions of protestors but pledging a few weeks holed up in a truck or a couple day march is weak medicine. If that doesn’t work, what do you do, go home and say you tried? Then live as slaves and hand down the burden to your children?
Expect a swift, forceful, tyrannical response from the government of Canada towards the truckers and any others that oppose them. This is the way of government, and the way forward for all of Canada and the rest of the world. The steady march towards tyranny.
This is another episode that the people will learn from. They will gradually realize the power and ruthlessness of their foe. And until the people of Canada (if they choose revolution) are ready to pledge their “lives, fortunes and sacred honor”…they will only know more tyranny.
American civilization is on the verge of collapse. It is plain to see that the goal of American government is to turn us into barbarians, as it has been doing for 240 years.
Because of this, a man has 4 options in today’s world:
Option #1 – Pay attention to the collapse and be ground into dust This man watches the daily happenings of the clown class. He gets upset at the actions of those in power. He is always frustrated with how things are. He sees obvious ways to improve upon our societal situation. Maybe he writes about them, maybe he tells his neighbors, maybe he mumbles under his breath. Either way, he spends his time in a stupor of anger, or shock, incredulous as to what is happening. The problem with option #1 is that it only hurts the man. Nothing is improved, nothing is done to change the direction of things. He grows weary and exasperated being angry all the time. He is made to be weak. Until he goes to option #2 or #3.
Option #2 – Don’t pay attention to it and enjoy life There is a lot to be said about this option. You didn’t create the political and cultural decadence we live under. We didn’t choose this system, or even agree to it. Let those in power continue to screw up. Let those who want to pay attention to those in power continue too. But not us.
A man choosing this option refuses to pay attention…refuses to give the system any energy, thought or time. He is content to get the most enjoyment out of life…to raise his kids as well as he can…to follow and stand up for Christ at all times…to be an example to others…to be happy and not worry about how politics and the federal reserve are destroying American civilization. He inoculates himself the best he can against the negatives from a degrading society and then proceeds to live. “Life is made to be felt as a joy,” as Nock said. He enjoys life until they come to put him in the camps. Then he tries to wriggle free.
Option #3 – Become a revolutionary The man becomes a revolutionary. How committed he is to revolution is up to him. He is not only upset at the direction of things, he commits to fight back in whatever ways are available. Unfortunately for the revolutionary, revolutions almost always end with the state winning – gaining more power – while the common man loses power.
This is true in all the revolutions america has had since the revolutionary war. The 2nd rev – when the articles of confederation was overturned and replaced with the dreadful constitution. The 3rd – war of northern aggression. 4Th – creation of the criminal fed reserve. 5Th – election of socialist roosevelt, etc. And the list goes on.
These were all revolutions…and the common man lost every one of them as more power was transferred from him to the government.
But this doesn’t sway the revolutionary man, and we tip our hats to him, but understand the odds, and the probability that any win might look like a win, but in the end is another loss, as the state ends up with more power.
Option #4 – Create new systems Go Galt. Don’t try to take over the existing systems as the revolutionary man tries to do. Instead, build up new systems to take the place of old systems as they break down. Food, clothing, goods, services, community, teaching, art, beauty. In America or elsewhere. To not only not pay attention to the system but to not even use the system…do not participate in the system…do not reform the old system…create new systems. This is the most difficult of the options, but the most fruitful if one can pull it off.
Probably some combination of the 4 is preferable. Certainly always enjoy life. Be joyful. Look for opportunities to become less attached to the system…especially with regard to building new systems. Stand up for what you believe in. Pay attention to the decline of America as much to get out of the way of it. Build new systems if you have the mind and ability for it. Build the systems on the bedrock principles as taught by Christ and you will do well. You will be a true revolutionary, helping all those around you.
Here is an interesting note from “Detachaction” from the comment section of a zerohedge.com article suggesting option #4, going Galt:
They take us as fools and most of our fellow citizens are. For those tired of being deceived, coerced, manipulated, gamed, it’s the 11th hour. The system is far too large for any individual to throw a branch in its spokes on their own.
We must opt out, never vote again, acquire land, secure arms to defend you and yours from this accelerating tyranny, start 3d printing, use btc to erase economic dependence, set up decentralized autonomous communities of like minded individuals(make sure at least 150 miles from any national border).
They will come for us eventually. In this mindless world its worth the sacrifice. We have to lay the groundwork now if we want to pass on liberty and self determination to future generations.

I watched a clip of Alex Jones from his election night 2016 broadcast, as trump was declared winner. Jones was in his cups, somewhat elated, somewhat downcast. As the TV in the studio played live video of the president-elect, jones asked if trump was the “golden toad”.
I don’t think Jones was saying anything in particular, just riffing. But after 4 years of the presidency, it is clear that jones’s off-hand comment was right, trump was a golden toad.
So many are still hoodwinked by trump, so many still want to believe. This is some form of stockholm syndrome, where the abused come to love even more the abuser. But let us look briefly at the toad’s record:
*12+ trillion fiat bucks printed. I saw a recent study which said something like 84%+ of the fed bucks went to the 1%, the little guy got the rest. But what wasn’t mentioned is the soaring costs the little guy is forced to pay, for the rest of his life.
*He loved to speak about obamas big glorious economic bubble. But under trump, the same policies were in place and expanded further, yet it was not a bubble but the “greatest economy in the history of the world”.
*He stands on his warp speed vax. In trumps mind the vax is the pinnacle of his presidency, but he was either fooled by the pharmaceutical companies and other assorted flim flam artists or he was in on the scam. Either way, a glorious buffoon.
*Blew vast quantities of money on the military industrial complex.
*Did nothing to slow abortion in the US.
*Shut down churches on Easter.
But none of these facts will change the mind of the maga morons. They wanted trump in the presidential reality show and they got him, strutting and prancing upon the stage. He big talked to everyone, said how he would fire this guy or ram this legislation. But in the end, he did nothing but talk.
His name is writ in water. He will be remembered to history as a mere placeholder, someone who not only didn’t help america and her people but actively pushed the once great country closer to ruin. He was the great Golden Toad.
This is a fascinating account of what happened regarding vote fraud and the Trump campaign’s half-hearted attempts to investigate it. He writes: “My ultimate purpose (my only real purpose), is to deliver to the public as honest a rendering as I may construct of the events between November 3 and January 6. It seems like a historically worthy thing to do.”
Written in 4 parts, perhaps with more forthcoming. The first part, linked below, is the longest.
I can’t capture the mood but here are some excerpts:
On Guiliani, the lead investigator of the fraud, portrayed as a bumbling drunk: “Eventually, I was brought back into a smaller room with Mayor Giuliani, and again asked to explain what I think happened. Realizing I may have overwhelmed him with my earlier explanation, and gotten him lost in the forest for the trees, I broke it down simply and slowly, like one would for one’s 76-year-old Grandfather. Again within 5-10 minutes he was fidgeting, grunting on occasion, sending people on unrelated side errands, checking his multiple phones for texts, and typing responses…. Meanwhile, I tried to stay on track. Yet there was a moment 15 minutes in when I got a whiff of something in that small office…. Medicine? Booze?”
Trump as a sad weakling: “There was a moment…where I saw him for what he was: a 74 year old man, tired, knowing he was being cheated out of his re-election, mostly defeated, ruing his errors, dwelling on what might have been.”
On cyber fraud: “cyber-specialists…documented vote-flipping in the Problematic 6 states amounting to 299,567 votes, just enough in each state to flip the election. 43% of that activity came from China.”
On Trump partying: “At 3 AM on New Year’s Day I received a text from General Flynn. He was still up working as well. He sent me photos that were then flashing around social media: down in Mar-a-Lago, Rudy and others from the entourage had rung in the New Year with a bang. Photos of Rudy, Don Jr., and Kimberly Gilfoyle drinking champagne, dancing, and Partying Like It’s 1999 were circulating through social media. Again, Flynn and I shared a moment of exasperated silence.”
The big rally on Jan 6th: “The show started, and soon Flynn and I were sinking into our seats in despair. One of Trump’s children got up and sang “Happy Birthday” to a girlfriend, or boyfriend. Rudy got up and spoke about Joe Frazier voting, again. Another lawyer got up and spoke. Don Jr. got up and with his chest puffed out, strode the stage talking about how the Republican brand was now the Trump brand, or the Trump brand was now the Republican brand, or something about branding. Around that time, Flynn and I caught eyes and shared looks of horror: it turned out later we were both asking if the other wanted to leave, but misunderstood each other. It was so bad that someone with some sense among the organizers had a change of heart, and came running over to ask General Flynn if he would take the stage: he refused. The shenaigans went on for an hour or more, then Trump appeared and spoke, much as he would at any campaign event or pep rally. In fact, the whole thing was more or less a pep rally: no effort was made to explain to the crowd, to the Americans who were watching at home, to the Senators who would begin voting in an hour, to the world that counts on America to be the leader of free, fair, and transparent elections, what had really gone wrong with the November 2020 election, and why we believed there were deep irregularities demanding investigation. No effort at all.
“Instead, it was a pep rally. That’s it. A Trump pep rally.
“The moment we could make a break from the front, Flynn and I and everyone with us made a dash for the exit. Flynn could barely contain his fury as we shared impressions: this had been the one last chance to explain the situation to the whole world, and instead Trump had used it as a pep rally. “He just does not get it,” we repeated to each other as we stormed through the crowd back towards the hotel. “He does not get that it is not about him. He put on a fucking pep rally. He does not understand that this is not about him,” we repeated over and over in anger and despair. In 15 minutes we were back at the hotel, both packing our bags, both sick to our stomachs, and did not leave to join the throngs moving towards the Capitol.”
By diverting their attention from what was really going on and getting them to believe in the system? “The entire Trump presidency was one continuous pacification operation.”
I’ve never been a fan of Mencken’s sentiment that American politics is the greatest show on earth* but Joe Biden’s continuing use of “come on man”, especially in this clip, is pretty hilarious. Just the look on his face, an American president on his first day in office, giving the old ‘come on man’ to what I’m sure is a scripted question. Biden looks like he hasn’t a clue where he is or what he’s doing, and is talking like he’s a blue collar worker on lunch at the deli.
*Excerpts from “On Being an American” by H.L. Mencken (1922)
“All the while I have been forgetting the third of my reasons for remaining so faithful a citizen of the Federation, despite all the lascivious inducements from expatriates to follow them beyond the seas, and all the surly suggestions from patriots that I succumb. It is the reason which grows out of my mediaeval but unashamed taste for the bizarre and indelicate, my congenital weakness for comedy of the grosser varieties. The United States, to my eye, is incomparably the greatest show on earth. It is a show which avoids diligently all the kinds of clowning which tire me most quickly — for example, royal ceremonials, the tedious hocus-pocus of haut politique, the taking of politics seriously — and lays chief stress upon the kinds which delight me unceasingly — for example, the ribald combats of demagogues, the exquisitely ingenious operations of master rogues…We have clowns in constant practice among us who are as far above the clowns of any other great state as a Jack Dempsey is above a paralytic — and not a few dozen or score of them, but whole droves and herds. Human enterprises which, in all other Christian countries, are resigned despairingly to an incurable dullness — things that seem devoid of exhilirating amusement, by their very nature — are here lifted to such vast heights of buffoonery that contemplating them strains the midriff almost to breaking.
Turn, now, to politics. Consider, for example, a campaign for the Presidency. Would it be possible to imagine anything more uproariously idiotic — a deafening, nerve-wracking battle to the death between Tweedledum and Tweedledee…the unspeakable, with fearful snorts, gradually swallowing the inconceivable? I defy any one to match it elsewhere on this earth…Here, having perfected democracy, we lift the whole combat to symbolism, to transcendentalism, to metaphysics. Here we load a pair of palpably tin cannon with blank cartridges charged with talcum power, and so let fly. Here one may howl over the show without any uneasy reminder that it is serious, and that some one may be hurt. I hold that this elevation of politics to the plane of undiluted comedy is peculiarly American, that no-where else on this disreputable ball has the art of the sham-battle been developed to such fineness…
… Here politics is purged of all menace, all sinister quality, all genuine significance, and stuffed with such gorgeous humors, such inordinate farce that one comes to the end of a campaign with one’s ribs loose, and ready for “King Lear,” or a hanging, or a course of medical journals.
But feeling better for the laugh. Ridi si sapis, said Martial. Mirth is necessary to wisdom, to comfort, above all to happiness. Well, here is the land of mirth, as Germany is the land of metaphysics and France is the land of fornication. Here the buffoonery never stops.
That cost, it seems to me is very moderate. Taxes in the United States are not actually high. I figure, for example, that my private share of the expense of maintaining the Hon. Mr. Harding in the White House this year will work out to less than 80 cents. Try to think of better sport for the money: in New York it has been estimated that it costs $8 to get comfortably tight, and $17.50, on an average, to pinch a girl’s arm. The United States Senate will cost me perhaps $11 for the year, but against that expense set the subscription price of the Congressional Record, about $15, which, as a journalist, I receive for nothing. For $4 less than nothing I am thus entertained as Solomon never was by his hooch dancers. Col. George Brinton McClellan Harvey costs me but 25 cents a year; I get Nicholas Murray Butler free. Finally, there is young Teddy Roosevelt, the naval expert. Teddy costs me, as I work it out, about 11 cents a year, or less than a cent a month. More, he entertains me doubly for the money, first as a naval expert, and secondly as a walking attentat upon democracy, a devastating proof that there is nothing, after all, in that superstition. We Americans subscribe to the doctrine of human equality — and the Rooseveltii reduce it to an absurdity as brilliantly as the sons of Veit Bach. Where is your equal opportunity now? Here in this Eden of clowns, with the highest rewards of clowning theoretically open to every poor boy — here in the very citadel of democracy we found and cherish a clown dynasty!”
“I told my team it’s time to cancel the Jacksonville, Florida, component of the G.O.P. Convention. We will be starting in North Carolina for the Monday, as has always been planned, we were never taking that off,” Trump said at a press conference at the White House Thursday afternoon.
Trump said that it was “not the right time” for a big convention, adding that he had “to protect the American people.”
He continues:
“I could see the media saying, ‘Oh this is very unsafe,'” Trump said. “I don’t want to be in that position.”
Trump said that he would be making an announcement in the coming days about what the new convention plans will look like, saying that it would be in a “different form” rather than the large arena event he had hoped for.
“We’ll announce what we’re doing, how we’re doing it, whether it’s something that’s done online,” Trump said, lamenting that “there could be nothing like our last convention, unfortunately.”
“Let us not talk falsely now, the hour is getting late.”
I keep seeing the idea that what the Fed is doing is creating ‘moral hazard’. But what they’re doing is not moral hazard – it is a war crime. They’re not helping Americans in any way, and are instead actively destroying them and their American civilization. At some point people have to understand fully what is being done to them and their society. The people around them, the people they love, those who will come after them are being systematically destroyed and the best people can muster is a softly spoken, “moral hazard.”
